TheresearchesonthesynthesisandtheapplicationofnanometerTi02haveattractedmoreandmoreattentionbecauseofitsopticalandelectronicpropertiescl].NovelcolloidalTi02waspreparedaccordingtoourworkc2],thetetrabutyltitanatealcoholsolutionandHN03aqueoussolutionunderthemodificationofsurfactantsincludingTween-80,Span-80andsodiumlaurylsulfate(SLS),respectively.ThephotocatalyticexperimentsforcolloidalTi02werecarriedoutbyUVspectrumunderthelabelingofmethylorange.ThesurfaceareasofcolloidalTi02weremeasuredonazetasizernanoparticleanalyzer,andTEMobservationwascarriedoutwithatransmittanceelectronmicroscope.TheresultsrevealedthatthephotocatalyticpropertyofcolloidalTi02wasimprovedbyaddingofSpan-80andTween-80,andreducedwithlaurylsulfatesodium.UnderUVlightfor55minutes,thephotocatalyticdegradationrateofcolloidalTi02was78.2%,whilecolloidalTi02withTween-80was90.5%,withSpan-80was81.2%,andwithsodiumlaurylsulfatewas72.7%.ThesurfaceareaofcolloidalTi02was0.0979m2/g,withTween-80wasl.70m2/g,withSpan-80was0.756m2/g,withsodiumlaurylsulfatewas0.553m2/g.ThephotocatalyticpropertyofcolloidalTi02wasincreasedbythesurfaceareaofcolloidalTi02.TheparticlesizeofcolloidalTi02withTween-80wasobtainedfrom3t08nmbyTEMimages,whichcorrespondsto(ioi)planeoftheanatasephase.
