3Dbi-axialspacerweft-knittedfabriccombinestheadvantagesofbi-axialreinforcedstructureswiththatofspacerstructures.Theconnectionoftwobi-axiallayersbyspaceryarnsenhancesitsmechanicalperformanceagainstdelamination.Inordertoassessthisperformance,delaminationtestwascarriedout.Moreover,Hopkinsonbarimpacttestwasconductedtostudythedynamicresponsesofthecompositeunderthehighstrainrate.Theresultsindicatedthattheanti-delaminationpropertiesofthefabricarecloselyrelatedtoconnectingyarndensities,anddynamicresponsesofthereinforcedcompositearegreatlyimprovedbytheconnectingyarns.Suchresearchescouldalsobeconsideredasareferenceinthedesignofother3Dknittedcompositestructures.
